Line 3. *Hann žar rki er Žrš-vangar heita*, 'he reigns (there) where it is called Ž.,' i.e. in the place which is called Ž. The plur. heita agrees with žršvangar, as in l. 14 below: žat eru jrnglfar 'that is (his) iron gloves.'
l. 5. *žat er hs mest, sv at mnn hafa grt*, 'that is the largest house, so that men have made (it),' i.e. the largest house that has been built. Note the plur. hs of a single house; each chamber was originally regarded as a house, being often a detached building.
